As global head of diversity and inclusion at Standard Life Aberdeen, Lynne’s focus is on creating an inclusive environment where diversity in the broadest sense is sought out and valued and where people can perform at their best. She established and chairs the Diversity Project Scotland Chapter and is involved in a number of committees to progress diversity and inclusion across the financial services industry. She was recently awarded the Institute of Directors Scotland “Director of the Year” award for Inclusivity and was highly commended in the UK awards. Lynne has more than 20 years of experience in HR and retail banking, working across both public and private sectors and geographies. She has expertise in the areas of talent and succession, organisational development and change, D&I and learning and development. Lynne is also a qualified coach and enjoys coaching and mentoring individuals inside and outside Standard Life Aberdeen. She is also a fundraiser for cancer charities.
